Baseball and Potty Training

Carson has started potty training himself. I was going to wait another 6 months but he is very interested in it now. This is a pic from when he first started. Now he has to be naked and climbs up on the potty all by himself. He sits on the back of the seat and goes pee pee. His placement on the seat may lead to problems when he tries to go stinky and his choice to be naked may be an issue at preschool. But we are so proud of our BIG BOY!

Now when Carson watches sporting events on TV he goes and gets the appropriate sports gear. This pic is from the Little League World Series. He went into his room to go get his Cards hat and baseball glove. When we were watching golf he got his putter and a ball. Then while watching tennis he got his little ping pong paddles and a ball. I think we may have a little sports fan on our hands.

Baby, Big Boy and Pasta

Welcome Baby Lincoln!

Finally after many months he made it up there by himself. Such a BIG BOY!

Not really sure about how to get down. He was a little scared.

Getting to BIG for my bed.

I think I may be ready for my BIG BOY BED.

Yummy Pasta. I now try to spin my fork to pick up the noodles.

The Early Family Summer Vacation 2009 - 1

Watching the fireworks for the 4th of July on the beach.

Resting with Daddy on the beach.

What a cutie in her 4th of July dress ... the popcorn was a hit with all the grandkids.

Check out my little man's red cowboy boots.

This year we went to Seagrove, FL (just down the road from Seaside) with my side of the family. We arrived on the 4th of July and wasted no time in starting the celebrations. We had a BBQ and watch the fireworks on the beach. TOO FUN!

WE ARE BACK!

Sorry for the 3 month delay in post. Over the next few weeks I hope to catch up with all the events that have taken place in our lives. So here we go ....

Please keep Caden and his family in your prayers. The story just breaks my heart. His mommy was part of MOPS at IBC.

Fun in the Sun

Our View

Home for the next week.
We leave early Saturday morning for the Early Family Vacation. It's going to be a great time. We can not wait to put our toes in the sand.

Playgroup

Snacks and party favors.

Yum Yums for Playgroup

See how everyone is in the shade. It was only 10:00AM

Carson and Amanda playing in the water table.

Cute 4th of July decor
We hosted playgroup at our house this week. We had to move the toys from the backyard to the front driveway. Our backyard is like an oven in the morning and at least in the front there is shade. So the kids were able to enjoy the jump house, water table, big bubble wands, sidewalk chalk. I even pulled out the snappers for a little 4th of July fun. The kids had a great time and by the time they left they were covered in a bubbly, chalky, dirty goo. Now it's time to pack and get ready for our FL trip. Too Fun!
