This past week was a busy one in the Bobzien house. Carson and I had our first playgroup meeting. Carson loved being around all the other kiddies. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. He loved it so much he was not very interested in taking a nap. Once I loaded him up in the car after the playgroup he was asleep before we even got out of the subdivision. We can’t wait till Thursday for the next playgroup.
Carson and I also had lunch with JoAnne and Kate. They are our neighbors we met last week. We went to his great little Italian restaurant in Lewisville. Carson enjoyed eating with Kate. We will have to do it again soon.
The neighborhood is starting to pull itself together again after the storms. It looked like a new subdivision based on all the contracting trucks parked all over the place. People have replaced trees, roofs, windows and fences. It looks pretty good I must say.
This week Carson has started to fall in love with being under the tables in our house. The funny part is when he gets stuck he has no idea how to get out and starts to grunt to get help. He has also found the magazine rack and loves to destroy it.
This weekend we went out to eat for Todd’s birthday. He is 39 today!!!! We went first for lunch at Taco Dinner and ate on the porch. The weather was perfect! Then for dinner we went to Brio with Matt and Hang. John and Angie were in town from Michigan so they joined us too. It was wonderful to be able to see them. We just wished we could have spent more time with them. See Todd somehow threw out his neck. It kind of changed our plans for the weekend. We were supposed to go to the Main Street Arts Festival in Fort Worth and have a BBQ on Sunday. But oh well at least we got to have dinner with everyone on Saturday night. I just felt bad for Todd.
It turned out to be a pretty good weekend.
