Carson and I spent the last week of August back in Kirksville with my family. Thank you to Grandma, Papa and Molly for picking us up at the airport in KC and driving us back to KV. While we were in KC we met Andy, Autumn, and of course cute little Briley Mae for brunch in Zona Rosa.
While at Grandma and Papa Carson loved playing in the backyard and the pool with all his cousins and Papa. Jackson and Ellie we very nice to Carson. Papa would take them all on wagon rides with the lawnmower. He would also give Carson apples from the apple tree. Carson loved those apples even the one covered in ants ... YUCK! Grandma was so nice to show Carson how to play with the toys that were at her house. She also spent a lot of time working with Carson to raise one finger for his first birthday ... we are still working on that. We also went on walks and picnics and even out to eat a few times.
While we were back in KV Carson needed it get his haircut for the first time. Kim was so sweet and gave him his first haircut for free. What a big boy he is becoming.
On Thursday we met up with the KV clan as well as Lissy and Grandpa Mike at the Pear Tree for dinner. As a cute surprise they came out with a bowl of mints with a sparkler in it for Carson's birthday. Too sweet.
