Visit from Grandma and Papa

This weekend Papa and Grandma came to visit us. It was a busy but fun weekend. On Friday Carson and Papa hanged out together while Mom and I went dress shopping for Kaitlin's wedding. That night Todd joined us and we went out to eat at Brio. Carson was wonderful while we were there. They gave him a balloon and also a little of pizza dough. He loved both of them and played the whole time. Saturday we woke up and headed out to the Texas State Fair. We were not sure what to think but once we got there we were able to enjoy the nice weather and the fair which is really a bunch of fried food. Over the years they have fried everything from Coke to Twinkies. This year the hit was chicken fried bacon. We then had to hurry home to put Carson down for his nap. While he was down for his nap we got the house ready for his 2nd First Birthday Party. The 1st one was back in KV with out family and friends. His 2nd one was back here is TX for our friends and his playgroup. The party was a hit and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. On Sunday we all went out for brunch and took Grandma and Papa back to the airport. Thank you so much for coming and we hope you can make it back soon.

This coming weekend we head to Hilton Head to spend some time with Todd's parents. In one form or another we will be traveling for the next five weekends ... TOO FUN!
