This past week Kris, Sam and Kate Beckman came to Dallas for a convention. Kris and I were childhood friend back in KV and were roommates in KC. While they were in town Carson and I went to the Children's Museum with Kris and Kate. The kids had a great time playing with all the interactive activities. Before we knew it nap time was approaching. So we had to call it a day. No worry because on Saturday they came to spend the night with us. Carson loved having Kate at his house. They were excellent play buddies. Kris and I really enjoyed our time to catch up and remembering all our fun times from the past. Sam, Todd and our neighbor friend Matt had a good time watching the playoff games. That night Hang (she worked that day) joined all of us for delicious dinner at Cadillac Ranch. They have the best banana bread pudding with this yummy warm caramel rum sauce. Carson and Kate really enjoyed dinner. They sat next to each other and shared their toys and snacks. They even shared a meal. Don't worry Kris and I are already planning their wedding. Sunday came too quickly and we were sad to see them leave. We can't wait for our next get together. The Bobzien's will need to make a trip to KC soon. Kris, Sam, and Kate thank you so much for a great visit and dinner (which you did not have to do). Here are a few pics from the week with them.
