After we got back from ICE and Bass Pro our good friend Hang called to let us know that her friend's daughter was stuck for the night at DFW and would be coming over to our house to get the key so that she could stay at Matt and Hangs house for the evening. When she came by we invited her to go to dinner with us that night at Cadillac Ranch and then come over for cookies and to hang out. Kamela was so nice and a joy to have over. We were so happy to share our Christmas with such a nice girl. Since the weather had changed and the roads were getting slick both dinner and Midnight Mass were not too busy. Carson was able to stay up and made it half way through Mass.

Caron was OUT when we got back from Midnight Mass. He did not even make it to hear "Twas the Night Before Christmas." Oh well ... there is always next year. He sure is cute asleep in his crib.

Santa got busy and was done with his duties around 2:30 AM. I think it was pretty good timing.

I LOVE LOVE the kitchen and table and chairs!

Carson's Santa Bell for this year.

Christmas Morning in our little backyard. LOVE the snow. Who would have ever thought our one Christmas in Dallas would be a white one. We are so blessed.

Our cutie when we went into his room. He had been yelling "Mama Mama Mama" because he heard me turning on the lights and music.

Climbing out all on his own.

First stop the Kitchen ... we had a hard time getting him to move on from the kitchen.

This was when he walked into the room with the BIGGEST smile on his face.

The monkey and rocket.

He loves this just as much as he love the one at Papa and Grandma's house. Big Hit!

Love his little bottom. It makes me smile.

Looking at the Santa cookies and milk. Over the morning he went ahead and ate Santa's leftovers.

Opening another Santa gift. Carson took awhile to open each gift. We started around 8:45AM and did not finish until 12:30PM. We had to hold Carson off a little while we waited for Don and Joy to come over around 11:00AM BUT we did finish.

Half way through Carson took a break with his "B" , "Doggy" and what he calls "Hot Chocolate Milk" or what we like to call hot chocolate.

Since Don and Joy were going to be awhile we went ahead and opened a gift from Grandma and Papa.

The suspense.

Woo Hoo DISNEY!

Carson loves the balloon and the thought is starting to register to Todd. Let the panic set in. Mom and Dad had set into motion a huge family trip to Disney World which will take place in the next two years ... it takes that long to plan a trip for that many people. They got us a giftcard for Disney World, our flight and a guide book. TOO FUN! THANK YOU!!

Todd still in a state of shock and panic reading the fine print. He knows it's going to be fun. He is just thinking about how it will get done. Silly boy forgot that Mom is the planner of all planners and has already thought it through.

Carson loved the confetti in the bottom of the box. He was throwing it up in the air and yelling "YEA!" He was so happy and had no idea that we are going to be going to Disney World.

Todd reading the fine fine print again. :)

Our guide ... yippy skippy ... that huge book all for a weeks worth of vacation. There is no messing around when you go to Disney.

Todd cleaning up the mess before his parents got over. Joy loves a clean house. He did it all by hand no vacuum.

Carson with his pot and pans from Don and Joy. He loved them!

Carson in his chef outfit. He was not too happy with us laughing at him. I think he is pretty stinking cute.

Kamela came over for brunch which we ate at 1:30PM ... running a little late. Then Todd took her to the airport for her 4:00 flight. She was able to make it home around 10:00PM Christmas night. We were so happy she was able to make it home.

Todd and I made our second turkey dinner and it was a success.

Christmas Crowns

Yes there is enough turkey for Todd to have real turkey sandwiches for a month.

He is very happy about this fact.

It was a busy weekend and we were all ready for a good nights rest.
