First Fireworks

Carson had a surprise for his Daddy when he came home Monday night. When I was at Target they had those Snap It's ... the little paper things you throw on the ground and they make a snapping noise. Well I went ahead and got some. Carson loved them and I think Todd did too.

Fun Fun Fun Weekend

Friday Carson and I went to the Galleria to do a little shopping and to have lunch with our dear friends Lindsi and Hang. Before we went to lunch with the girls Carson got to play in the play area. He loves it there. He makes many friends and like to play King of the Mountain. When he comes down the little slide he always claps for himself. Pretty cute!

Saturday after a trip to Kroger and lunch we took our Little Man to this really cool playground. It's this huge wooden castle/fort full of slides, mazes, swings and games. I love it because there are tons of trees around it to keep it nice and cool. Carson loves to play and run in it. After all the playing we needed to cool off so we went to Sonic for some yummy shakes and floats. That night Todd and I got to enjoy a date night. We loved every minute of it.

Sliding with Daddy!

On Sunday afternoon we headed to the pool for some fun in the sun. While we were there we ran into Addison and David from playgroup who were there with their mommies. All three of them loved the slide. Carson spent a lot of time at the top of the slide. He was a little scared to go down by himself. Todd was so good with him.

Thinking about going down.

LOOK AT ME! I MADE IT DOWN BY MYSELF! Such a big boy.

I love ICECREAM

Sharing with Daddy ... What a good boy!

YUMMY!!!

Today after cleaning the whole house top to bottom and planting all our flowers in their pots we went and go icecream for Carson because he was such a GOOD BOY. He loved it and even shared some with Todd and I.

Lions Tigers and Bears Oh My

Checking out those teeth.

Sunday late morning we decided it would be a wonderful day to take Carson to the Fort Worth Zoo. It was the first time for all of us and we were pleasantly surprised. The weather was perfect and the zoo was beautiful. The animals were out and Carson loved it. We were there for a few hours before it started to rain but we needed to get home anyways so that Carson could take a nap before we went over to Matt and Hangs for a BBQ.

Perfect Day for the PARK!

At the park on a sunny day.

Loving the slide.

Playing with the BIG BOYS.

What a wonderful weekend we had in the Bobzien house. Having the third day really helped. Saturday we went to the park for a little while in the afternoon with Carson. He enjoyed the slide and even tried some new things like climbing up the monkey bars and playing basketball with they BIG boys ... he really wanted to play with them but they really did not want to play with him ... poor thing. Not too long after that we had to head home because Carson bit his lip while he was climbing and there was a little blood.

Carson's First Major Baseball Game

It was not a CARDS game but the Rangers will have to due.
I went out of town this weekend to go to Kaitlin's Bachelorette Party in St. Louis. This gave Carson and Todd some much needed time together, or as Jackson would call it a "Bachelors Weekend." They got to go play at the Galleria and watch the afternoon show of animals. They also got to stay up late, eat cookies, fall asleep in the "Big Red Chair" watching TV. The best part of the weekend was being able to spend time with his Daddy at a baseball game. It was a Rangers game rather than a CARDS game but it will have to do.
I on the other hand got to spend a fun weekend with my family in St Louis. Everyone was there but my "Favorite Boys." Everyone missed them but I do have to say it was nice to have two whole nights of wonderful sleep and not having to run after a toddler all day. We had a nice afternoon out at the winery and then a short but fun night out in Lafayette Square. The best part of the weekend was getting to see my boys when they picked me up at the airport. My second favorite part was being able to see my family. I only wish we lived closer to them.
Over all it was a great weekend and everyone had an amazing time.

Aunt Lissy and Carson

Over the past few weeks I had a very very nice Mother's Day weekend with my favorite boys in the world. We also had Lissy come to visit us. While she was here in Dallas she did some "Mini Shoots" with my friends and their kids. They just loved them and they loved the wonderful discount they got. Thank you Lissy for coming to visit us.
