Friday night we had to make a mall run so I could return a few items and pick up a few more. While we were there we had dinner at Grand Lux. Carson is getting better and better at sitting in a highchair. He loved the bread and chicken and he did not make a big mess.
Saturday we went to the Byron Nelson. Todd’s company had a nice villa on the 18th hole. So for Carson’s first PGA tournament he had the best of the best. We also spent some time walking around the new course (it was remolded this past year) and letting Carson crawl around on the nice plush grass. He did an amazing job and was quiet when he needed to be … such a good boy.
Sunday we went to church and then for brunch. Then we ran a few errands. By the time we got home Carson was just pooped out.
Monday his new car seat came in. He was not too excited about the car seat itself but he loved the box. He would crawl into it and get upset when he could not get out. We have not learned how to backup yet. Here are a few pics from this past week. Enjoy!

Busy Boy
This past week was a busy one in the Bobzien house. Carson and I had our first playgroup meeting. Carson loved being around all the other kiddies. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. He loved it so much he was not very interested in taking a nap. Once I loaded him up in the car after the playgroup he was asleep before we even got out of the subdivision. We can’t wait till Thursday for the next playgroup.
Carson and I also had lunch with JoAnne and Kate. They are our neighbors we met last week. We went to his great little Italian restaurant in Lewisville. Carson enjoyed eating with Kate. We will have to do it again soon.
The neighborhood is starting to pull itself together again after the storms. It looked like a new subdivision based on all the contracting trucks parked all over the place. People have replaced trees, roofs, windows and fences. It looks pretty good I must say.
This week Carson has started to fall in love with being under the tables in our house. The funny part is when he gets stuck he has no idea how to get out and starts to grunt to get help. He has also found the magazine rack and loves to destroy it.
This weekend we went out to eat for Todd’s birthday. He is 39 today!!!! We went first for lunch at Taco Dinner and ate on the porch. The weather was perfect! Then for dinner we went to Brio with Matt and Hang. John and Angie were in town from Michigan so they joined us too. It was wonderful to be able to see them. We just wished we could have spent more time with them. See Todd somehow threw out his neck. It kind of changed our plans for the weekend. We were supposed to go to the Main Street Arts Festival in Fort Worth and have a BBQ on Sunday. But oh well at least we got to have dinner with everyone on Saturday night. I just felt bad for Todd.
It turned out to be a pretty good weekend.

We Are Pulling Up!
This past weekend Carson starting pulling up on his little toy basket. He did it all on his own while he was playing on the floor. Todd ran and got the camera so we were able to get some pics of the event. He has also started to explore more of the house. He has not learned how to backup so he gets stuck sometimes. He also go to sit in the shopping cart without his carseat for the first time. He was SO PROUD of himself. He sat upright and held onto the front of the cart with a huge smile on his face. It lasted for about 20 minutes and then I ended up holding him while we finshed up in Target. I took some pics but they did not turn out for some reason.

What A Crazy Night!!!
3:00 AM we woke up to the wind howling and the electricity going in and out. So we got Carson out of his room and made us a little fort in my closet. When we came out this is what we found. Our house only had some minor roof damage but as you can see some of our neighbors were not as lucky. Thank God no one was hurt.

Happy birthday to you.
Jumping for Jackson!
This is a little gift from Carson.
Now this was our first try at "Jumping for Jackson." Carson was a little busy with something else. If you listen carefully you can hear his little grunts. :)

The Bobzien Zoo
Well we made a change in the Bobzien house this weekend. We opened the Bobzien Zoo. We have one cage and one wild animal ... Which means we dropped Carson's mattress in his crib. So now it looks like a cage.
On Friday we went out for dinner. In honor of Papa going to his first Cards game this season Carson wore his STL Cards t-shirt. Sara, Ryan, and Lissy gave this to him before he was even born. It just a little tight. After dinner we went for ice cream.
Saturday we BBQed in our driveway ... Todd says we become white trash when we do this. So to complete the white trash theme we put Carson out there in just his diaper and his plastic stand-up toy. He loved it.
Sunday we went to church and then to brunch. He is really enjoying sitting in the highchairs and eating real food. When we feed him I think he looks like a bird. He has also just started this thing of sticking out his tongue to the right side. I think he looks a little like Buba Gump.
Here are a few pics from this weekend. Enjoy!

Table Food and A Birthday Party
This past weekend we had a pretty lazy weekend. Friday night we went out to MiCo for dinner and Carson got to try some new foods. He was not too excited about the oranges, but to our surprise he loved the guacamole. That night before dinner we stopped by Wal-Mart to pick up his jumper which he still loves. Saturday we all went to Hanson's 3rd birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's. I think it will be our cheapest trip there since all we had to do to entertain Carson was place him on the rides ... no tokens were needed. While we were there he got to try pizza which he liked. There was also cake which Carson is a big fan of. On Sunday we went to church and then out for brunch. We spent the rest of the day working on things around the house and went on a walk. Here are a few pics from the weekend.
