Thank God for Papas! We had a little scare last week. Tuesday morning my dad notice a little tingly feeling on his left side. He thought he had slept wrong on something and was feeling the effects of that. He went into work and noticed that he was going numb on his left side so he had a nurse take his pressure and it was very high. So my Dad being my Dad waited till lunch to drive himself home to have Mom take him to the ER. He told my Mom that he could drive and she told him no way. Well he had a small stroke which caused the numbness on his left side. They admitted him to the CCU so they could bring down and watch his blood pressure. He was home by Friday morning. Well when we all heard the news all the kids started to make their way back home. I found out a little before 2:00 and by 5:00 Todd, Carson and I were on a flight to KC. We were all home by 10:30 Tuesday night! The next day we all got busy on the yard and closing down the pool so Dad would not have to worry about it when he got home. In the next few weeks Andy is going to come home and hang the Christmas lights. It's going to he hard for Dad to sit still. But he is doing very well. He thinks he may be back to work part time next week. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and thoughts. What wonderful family and friends we are blessed with.
