SMILE!!
When Carson came home from preschool on Thursday we went out to play in the backyard since it was so nice out. You never know what the weather is going to be like here in Dallas. Just a few days before this we were having snow flurries. When we got home he wanted to play outside and was saying "boots Mama" which he means his cute red cowboy boots that he loves to wear now. He can even put them on by himself. While he was out there he played in his water table and on his slide. It's amazing how our yard looks like spring already.

After we came in for some lunch I caught Carson drinking the rest of my coffee. If any of you know Carson you know that this kid loves coffee or as he likes to call it "
cocee."

Saturday evening Todd was able to leave work early so that we could take Carson to see Sesame Street Live. He was very excited and a little nervous. When we came in to
Nokia Theater the first thing I smelled was cotton candy. Me being
prego we just had to get some. Carson really did not like it so that left more for Mommy.

On our way in!

A little nervous when the show started ... I thought he was pretty cute.

Still a little nervous.

Sitting on Daddy's lap makes me brave.

The show was over an hour and Carson was ready for a break. So Todd took him out during intermission and he ran up and down a ramp and then was ready to come back to the show

It was best that they left at intermission because a guy came out with like 200 $20 Elmo balloons. I can say the only things we bought were the cotton candy and a drink.

Watching Elmo's World

He was brave and dance out in the aisle with the other kids.

After the show we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. It sounded good and we thought it would not take that long. Well it did take a while but Carson was a very good boy and it tasted great.

Sunday Todd was able to stay home for the WHOLE DAY ... WOO
HOO! Todd has been working 7 day weeks at least 12 hours a day. So when he was able to stay home on Sunday we were all very excited. He was able to sleep in and when he got up I ran to
Wal-Mart, Kroger and
Sams. I needed to get stuff for our playgroup that we will host this morning. When I got back Todd and his little helper were moving things in the garage so that we could fit my car in and start setting up the other half for storage. I could tell that Carson was having a blast he was still in his PJ's (which are too short) with his "boots" on. He hands and face were covered in dirt and dust.

He was a very happy boy.

We spent the rest of the day working on the house and cleaning for playgroup. We finished
around 8:45. Thank you so much Todd for working so hard to get some of this stuff done. It was a wonderful weekend. Carson had a blast and on Sunday the boy got two baths and really needed both of them. That is when you know you have had a great day. Two very much needed baths.
